Transkey is a custom keyboard extension that translates the last sentence of any text field inside any app (such as iMessage, Messenger, Whatsapp, Skype, Email, and many more).

Transkey also works the other way around. Copy the text you cant understand and TransKey will show you what it means in your native language.

Simply write what you want to say with your preferred keyboard, then right before sending your message tap and hold the globe button and select Transkey. After youve chosen your target language, tap translate "textfield" and youll see the translation almost immediately directly in the keyboard. From there you can easily replace the original text or copy the translation to your pasteboard.

If youd like to translate a message you received, simply copy it and select translate "clipboard" in Transkey. The translation will appear in the same place.

Full access is needed to communicate with the translator, the keyboard cannot function otherwise. We do not get access to everything you write - only the last sentence of the text field in focus when you are using our keyboard. We do not store or keep a record of anything you translate, we only use it for translation. Your privacy is very important to us. Please read our Privacy Policy for further information.

Unlike other keyboards, Transkey does not let you to write text. Write with your favorite keyboard and use TransKey to translate the message.

Transkey is free to use with Yandex Translate. For a small monthly fee you can upgrade to our premium translator engine, Google Translate. Subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account. Your subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will not be able to cancel a subscription during the active period. You can manage your subscriptions in your Account Settings after purchase.
